Gives out licenses and keeps them too. You must go there in person. A basic license is 90 bucks or 100 if self unit. Lookups can be done for free from 1995 online. Old ones take form work and cost 25 for a copy 50 for a stamped type. You can also get same day for a fee.
Philadelphia County Marriage Record Office City Hall Room 415 1400 JFK Blvd Philadelphia PA 19107 215 686 2234 rowonline@phila.gov	This place helps folks get true or stamped copies of wedding slips. Covers all from year 1885 up. Cost is same as above. If you mail it in it takes near 10 work days.
Philly City Archives 548 Spring Garden St Philadelphia PA 19123 215 685 9401	Has the old wedding slips from July 1860 to end of 1885. Good for kin work or past docs. Takes a bit longer than others but they know their stuff. Bring your form or send by mail. No cards, cash or check only.
Philly County Court Judicial Records City Hall Room 296 Philadelphia PA 19107 215 686 2530	Holds the rule side of the slip files. Like for break ups or court deals. Has online look for files from 1995 up. Cost for a true copy is 25 bucks. Need full names and file date to get it.
Philly Records Office Deeds and Land City Hall Room 111 Broad and Market St Philadelphia PA 19107 215 686 2262	This place is more for land stuff but some folks may need it if their wedding ties to home papers. Online pay and search tool is up for use if you pay for it.
